Level I / Intro. ~ For beginning and continuing students to introduce the key principles of correct alignment in the yoga poses, how to use the breath and how to effectively relax. Emphasis on foundational poses and developing strength, flexibility and balance.
Level ll ~ For students who have a basic knowledge of yoga fundamentals. Emphasis on refining Level I poses, building stamina, strength and developing a steady mind. Intermediate level poses and breathing techniques (pranayama) are introduced.
Level III ~ For students who have at least two years of consistent yoga practice and want a challenge. Emphasis on intermediate/advanced poses, pranayama, meditation techniques and cultivating a greater awareness of the energetic and spiritual science of yoga.
Anusara Yoga ~ Anusara means "flowing with Grace" and combines Universal Principles of Alignment, dynamic movement, balanced energetic action and celebration of the human spirit for a fully integrated practice.
Ashtanga-Inspired Vinyasa ~ Teaching the Primary Series, this class links poses in a specific sequence to strengthen, purify and transform on all levels. In order to optimize the mastery of the sequence it is recommended that students commit to consistent attendance.
Ballet Stretch ~ This class extrapolates time-honored ballet movement techniques and reinterprets them for superior fitness training. Get strong, stretched and toned.
Gentle Yoga ~ Ideal for seniors and students who prefer a class less vigorous than Level I. Combines warm-ups, gentle postures and restorative yoga to reduce stress and increase flexibility, balance and vitality.
Going Deeper ~ Dynamic practice that includes pranayama, vinyasa and meditation in a longer class format.
Hatha Yoga ~ Focuses on optimal alignment often using props to assist in in-depth exploration and insight into a variety poses. A must for truly understanding the roots of yoga.
Kundalini Yoga ~ A dynamic blend of movement, music and meditation designed to give you a lasting experience of health and happiness. Balances your nervous and glandular systems, encourages physical and emotional healing and recharges your spirit from the inside out.
Nia (Neuromuscular Integrative Action) ~ Combines a variety of movement styles (martial arts, dance, healing arts) in a heart-pumping workout. Class rocks with incredible music and soulful inspiration. All levels.
Pilates Mat I ~ For beginning students to learn and refine the Pilates matwork exercises. Abdominal strength and core stability will develop, while improving alignment and flexibility.
Pilates Mat II ~ For students familiar with Pilates who have adequate abdominal/core strength to progress through the entire matwork series.
Power Yoga ~ Vinyasa-style class designed to help you find your inner power by exploring the edges of what is possible in a safe and sacred way.
Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga ~ Vinyasa-style class designed for expectant and new mothers. Great way to bond with your baby in a supportive environment.
